Nihon Goshin Aikido?
About our School.
 AIKIDO is often called "The Peaceful Way" because of nearly effortless techniques that triumph over hard attacks. Through control of a partner's centerline, attention, and balance almost any attack can be rendered ineffective, without having to apply hard physical force.
At Aikido Heiwa - Martial Arts for Peace we teach the natural flowing, graceful movements of Aikido, as well as the art's more explosive, self-defense oriented techniques.
To enable the martial arts student to better understand a wide range of different attacks, we practice the strikes, throws, and the close combat skills from KarateDo and AikiJutsu.

We are located only 20-25 minutes north of Seattle WA, in the Lynnwood / Edmonds area. Our dojo also draws students from Everett, Marysville, Monroe, Shoreline, Mounlake Terrace, Mill Creek, Bothell and other nearby Seattle communities. Please feel welcome to come visit us.
