I am trying to get folks to PLAN AHEAD a little more this year.

I have BOOKED three campsites, #1, #3, and #4 at MONEY CREEK campground on highway 2
, 48 miles east of Seattle near SKYKOMISH, WA

UPDATE: Campsite #7 added! FOUR SITES booked now!!!

The dates for this year's Annual Retreat will be Friday and Saturday, August 22&23rd.
I will also be staying out camping on Sunday night as well but will move on to a more remote
camp spot on the mountain for Sunday night.

These sites will hold up to 8 people with tents or under the stars or in a camper thing.
Vehicles are MAX of 2 per site, with an 8 buck charge for the second car. People
SHOULD plan to carpool up for this, as parking spaces are limited in this forested campground.
Cars could easily be safely left in Skykomish village though, only 2 miles up the road.

There is swimming and fishing here, a huge forest and I will bring the mats if people want to train.
Lots of hiking in the area and climbing down in Index as well as an old quarry nearby.

So right now I have a head count possible of 24 people on the sites I reserved, (All near each other).

If we start now getting folks prepped, we can see how many folks might be attending.
If you want to reserve your OWN campsite, DO IT SOON, as this small campground
WILL BOOK OUT before the summer, seriously. There are some non-reserve sites, that folks
might get lucky to snag, but I would not count on it yet.

I wanted to give you all a good head's up now, to plan ahead.

This weekend will be the weekend right after I get back from my cross country filming trip.

We might be having classes in the morning and evening when it is cooler out. WE HAVE THE NEW CANOPY SO ITS FINE ANYTIME, is we can set it up there at the campground!!!!

Next year's dates are not set for the 2009 retreat, maybe we'll go back to The Gill's again if they will host us.
